They peek out just enough
I wore the pumpkin pair to work with loafers and only noticed the little orange cuff when I sat down. A few people asked where they were from. Not costume-y at all, which was exactly what I wanted.
Cute, but not loud
good little ghost. Wore them all day and forgot I had them on.
The embroidery made the difference
I bought these after getting tired of Halloween prints looking sad after a couple of washes. The bat is still crisp after several wears and washes, and the cuff stays up under my ankle boots. They are a little thinner than my winter socks, but that is better for my shoes anyway.
